Should I wait and buy a llano laptop in a few days or get a First Gen i5 or Second Gen i3?

I am going to be using the laptop for college some gaming minor animation and video editing (for fun not for college). When it comes to gaming Im more of a console person but I am going to have a lot of free time between classes and if I dont have much homework I would like to play games while I am waiting for my next class The games I play are Call of Duty GTA Halo ect.. Also I am wanting to make some animations and do video editing for fun maybe make a few funny youtube videos. I use an older version of Adobe Premier and Bryce 7 PLE and photoshop. I have up to $700 but would like to only spend 499-599. Oh and when is HP coming out with the new AMD Llano laptops
