If these are habits that you cannot control in public and is affecting your self image, you can see a psychologist to get some tools/exercises that will help you move away from them. They can also spot for physiological issues that may need medicines (from a psychiatrist) to fix the medical ailment, assuming there is a drug for it. Please keep as many notes as you can so they have information to go from. Don't just rely on your memory only, as that may be prone to errors.
