Adobe after effects software?

I was wanting to try adobe after effects. Only problem is I only have a 32bit MacBook. So, is there anywhere I can SAFETLY and LEGALLY download a free trial of adobe after effects cs4? Also, if I get the free trial of adobe premier, which includes both aftr efcts cs4 and 5, will I be able to use cs4 from just the trial version or premier?
