Does it hurt to attach a temp. crown yourself after it falling off?

To be honest it sounds like the roots are exposed I`m shocked they didn`t do a root canal since it`s so sensitive. I wouldn`t try doing it yourself because if the nerves are exposed you could end up in a lot more pain. If it ends up coming out call the office and tell them. They may see you sooner, also mention the pain just in case. Good luck.
