How much should it cost to rewire a 1968 VW Beetle?

I just purchased a 1968 VW Beetle. It is solid with very little rust. But, the wiring is a mess. It starts and the headlights and wipers work, but that's about it. I was just going to have someone rewire it from front to back. How much should it cost for a job like that?
