Is there another way to update adobe flash player?

The problem is that at work in order to update it, the boss who is paranoid about the computers, has to come and log in under his name in order to upgrade it. I have mentioned it to him various times but he says it is not necessary. However, I can't watch any video and the pop up to upgrade it keeps coming up and it is annoying. Is there another way that I can update this without him having to log on? I have tried to do it under my name but it says I am not an administrator.
