Why would a company come out with mono headphones?

Mono is so 1950's. Stereo has been around for decades. The people at Sylvania don't realize this. They sell a pair of headphones that are wireless, and they're mono! What a stupid, dimwitted company! Who in the HELL uses mono? Does anyone in the world know how to rewire the headphones, so stereo sound come out of them? Anyone know a website that does modding like this?
